Lazsa Orchestrator Agent

Lazsa is a self-service development platform that provides all the required infrastructure, tools, and technologies that developers need, to build a digital application.

Depending on the type of Lazsa deployment that you have opted for, you use tools managed by Lazsa in our cloud account or tools deployed in your cloud account. In the latter case, the Lazsa platform needs to connect to the configured tools or to the Secrets Management tool that manages the credentials for the configured tools in your cloud account.

As an organization, your security policy restricts access of tools to external entities. You might use a variety of tools some which have an on premise installation and some others are SaaS tools. In cloud computing while the management and orchestration of an organization’s cloud environment is done in the control plane, most organizations prefer the data plane to be operating in their own network. Considering all the above factors, it makes it necessary for a product development platform like Lazsa to connect to tools in your environment.

The Lazsa Orchestrator Agent is a service that runs in your cloud account and connects to tools without sharing any credentials over the wire, complying with the security norms of your organization.

With a lightweight agent footprint that is deployed in your cloud account, the Lazsa Orchestrator Agent connects to your Secrets Management tool and fetches the credentials to connect to the configured tools. Alternately it connects directly to the tools configured in your cloud account. Thus it connects to the required tools without fetching any credentials into the Lazsa platform.
